Intinor to Showcase SMPTE ST 2110 Progress and DVB-Compliant HEVC at IBC2026
Intinor announced on July 13, 2026 that it will showcase new firmware and a hybrid IP roadmap for its Direkt series at IBC2026 in Amsterdam, September 11-14, on Stand 5.D61 in Hall 5. Currently available updates include HDR HLG metadata passthrough through the full signal chain, enhanced NDI configuration via the Intinor Direkt Management interface, and NDI 6.3 support with 10-bit I/O, while the roadmap adds SMPTE ST 2110 output for compressed internet feeds and DVB-compliant HEVC encoding, with ST 2110 input to follow.
Peder Boberg, Product Owner at Intinor, said: "Broadcasters today are expected to juggle feeds from a massive variety of sources, which often means dealing with unpredictable internet connections." He added that the Direkt series is designed to act as a secure gateway between the public internet and broadcast infrastructure, combining the Bifrost transport protocol with SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy to keep those feeds reliable.
