TVU Networks Enables Cross-Border Cloud Broadcast of the IHF Women's Youth World Handball Championship
TVU Networks announced in early July 2026 that its cloud production platform delivered cross-border broadcast coverage of the IHF Women's Youth (U20) World Handball Championship, held across four venues in Jinzhong, China in late June 2026. Thirty-two national teams played 116 matches over 12 days, with TVU deploying eight TVU One encoder/transmitter units, two per venue, paired with TVU MediaHub cloud routing over bonded cellular connectivity in place of fixed fibre infrastructure.
Each venue ran primary and backup transmission hardware for redundancy, while TVU's ISX protocol managed multiple simultaneous network connections and Smart VBR adjusted encoding in real time to available bandwidth. A single remote team monitored all venue feeds from one internet connection, delivering uninterrupted international feeds to broadcast partners across Europe without on-site personnel at each venue.
